Kathleen Tucker Landreth has always been passionate about art. She has pursued her art with self-study as well as intense study with professional local and national artists.
Living in the Southwest has also had an influence in her art. Living under cobalt skies, her spirit is lifted by the smell of pinon in the July rain and the aroma of chile roasting over flame in the fall harvest. Purple and yellow wildflowers dance around the cholla and prickly pear cactus. Lizards and quail live amid the rocks. A roadrunner comes to the window to tease the cat. Each and every day ends with a Technicolor panorama of sunset. A soul sleeps soundly when well fed.
